Four Season Maui luxury Riviera is the place for those who want to be spoiled and served like a celebrity. Preserving the nature is another key objective of Four Seasons Maiu management, resulting in exceptionally beautiful landscapes and seashores.

Breathtaking scenes from one of the best preserved seashores in that part of the Globe will not only rest ones eyes but its soul as well. If you should like to be treated with excessive indulgence at Four Seasons Maui, their Spa will do the trick for sure.

Boosting up ones senses takes just no more than visiting some of the masseurs in many spa centers, which will make all your five senses bloom like a Spring. Spa massage program withholds everything from Lomilomi to Swedish massage. Effective Thai and Chinese traditional relaxation and breathing methods, combined with your own personal wellness guide, are a guarantee for a perfect vacation. Intriguing nature and excellent architecture managed to blend together the best of tradition and 21century luxury supported by dedicated staff on every step of the way through Four Season Maui.

For majority of first time guests at Four Season Maui resort, it is the love on first sight. The urge to frequently visit the place will still linger in your mind, such is its charm.

The food represents one of the main quality points of each tourist resort and needless to say, the variety of food and the quality of preparation you find here is simply unmatchable. Demanding guests will not come short on any kind of food, let it be sea fruits or different meat specialties, the resort has something for each taste. If Italian food is more in your line, then the resort even has exceptional provisions for it, along with excellent beachside services, which makes the whole experience even more intriguing.

Comfort and pleasing details are a trade mark of accommodation facilities in Four Season Maui. Big size French beds, artistically designed bathrooms floors and beautiful spacious balconies make each second of your stay an experience of luxury.

Those guests who can not relax without engaging in one or the other fitness activity will be pleased to know there are several tennis courts and other facilities dedicated to sports and muscle training. But then if you are one of those, who are more inclined towards golf, then the Robert Trent Jones II designed course, spread over an area of 7000 yards, at a few minutes distance, away from the resort, armed with amenities of a championship course, is just the place for you.

In all, the over all experience at the Four Seasons Maui is exhilarating; something to remember and look forward to, even when one is busy, jostling with the city life. Hawaii have always been the jewel of Pacific ocean and Four Seasons Maui resorts is a flagship of all its beauties.

It is hard to be objective when reporting about this Eden of Hawaii, once experiencing it, makes it hard to put aside all those emotions. The overall excellence leaves deep and pleasant feelings behind, and a photo album full of dreams that came thrue. Worth spending your vacations here if you are on a look for a different kind of high class treatment.

When deciding on a high class resort and when the disappointment is out of question, Four Seasons Maui is a bulletproof choice to make.

Gabe Gayhart asked:

Some discover the Wailea Beach Villas (WBV) through LuxuryLink. The directory for affluent travelers who want to find the most suitable and comforting luxury locations in the world. I discovered the WBV through a friend who owns a condo in Hawaii. Staying at the Maui Escape, a brand new, luxuriously furnished unit in prestigious WBV. Granted what makes the Villas is ultra luxury touch. Being right on Wailea Beach glassy see through waters makes it close to impossible to find yourself lost in thought of the mainland problems. This residential resort, as I was told by locals in Maui, is the best on the island. Nothing does compare, when combining luxury and paradise, in Wailea. Dare I proclaim that this luxury residential resort, located in the heart of Wailea, Maui is the finest in luxury destination resorts?

Located at 3800 Wilea Alanui. The luxurious beach villas on Wailea Beach, are footsteps from The Shops of Wailea . The resort offers discerning travelers the privacy and comfort of spacious floor plans. All accommodations include the comforts of centralized air conditioning , and ceiling fans in every room. Room service - Upon request, staff delivers breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. A chef is on call for hire. These luxury vacation condos in Maui are the culmination of many years of planning, design and development experience in Hawaii. The villa resort is a planned paradise situated in the very heart of Maui’s sunny southwestern coast .

The Wailea Beach Villas feature spectacular views of the West Maui mountains and the islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe and the Molokini Crater. The Maui Escape, is a for rent by owner villa within the resort. The Maui Escape provides year around accommodations and exhibits the paradise of the resort on their website. It is a two bedroom, two bath condo, with custom bathrooms, custom kitchen with a view of Lanai.

An example, of a larger unit would be The Golden Mandarin, a three bedroom, three and a half bath luxurious upscale residence with creative and opulent East Asian decor. The visitors staying in the “Golden Mandarin” claimed The unit was “spectacular” - 3bedroom/3bath 2nd floor penthouse with gorgeous ocean views. The unit was really spacious and appointed with high-end everything from the granite kitchen with TWO sub-zero refrigerators, bathrooms with glass shower enclosures, sophisticated yet comfortable furnishings, 2 plasma & 2 flat screen TVs.

Even with the two bedroom accommodations of the Maui Escape, it was still very spacious. At least, 2200 square footage of well designed space, which can sleep at least six people.

Luxury does come at a cost but depending on the size of your party it’s not too bad. Compared to it’s neighbor the Grand Wailea, it pencils out to the same amount of money spent. If you have to book three rooms, then the pricing for one unit is close. Adding to that, Wailea Beach Villas has a full kitchen.

Other common gripes are if your property is tucked near the back, it’s a farther walk to the beach. I have heard common feedback from retired over 65 folk that have complained about the trek. Also, if you smoke, this is a non smoking resort. If you do smoke you will want to strategically locate yourself near the parking lot.

Overall, WBV represents the newest and most luxurious oceanfront, residential-resort vacation experience in Maui. Wailea Grand Champions Villas, Makena Surf and Wailea Beach Villas (opened in May 2006). WBV are far and above the most comfortable and most talked about resort of the three. To say you’ll be living in the lap of luxury is an understatement, if you are looking for luxury and comfort in Maui - there is no other residential resort paradise like the WBV, it was designed to be the best and for the affluent traveler’s pleasure.

About Wailea:

Wailea is home to several prominent resort properties including Grand Wailea Resort, Fairmont Kea Lani Maui, Wailea Beach Villas, and the Maui Prince. Poised on Maui’s Wailea Beach amid golden sands and the jewel toned waters of the Pacific Ocean. The population is approx 5,700 people, and home of the Maui Film festival which takes place in June. This Hawaii paradise is considered a premiere Maui honeymoon location, and perfect family or romantic getaway. The town is bursting with aloha radiant energy and the best Maui activities are surrounding the geography.

Dave Huffman asked:

One of the most scenic options you have while in Hawaii is taking an aerial tour of Maui via a helicopter. As you are up in the helicopter, you will see views you could only imagine on the ground.

Many people only have the privilege of seeing Maui from the windows in an airplane. This view might seem spectacular, but it is a fairly quick event, and depending on the height of the plane, may not offer the true beauty of a flight closer to home.

Helicopter tours on Maui range in price from modest to expensive. However, if you have the means while you are on vacation, this type of tour is highly recommended. Depending on the tour you choose to take, you will see part or all of Maui or a collection of small islands and Maui, as well.

As you travel in the helicopter, you will see waterfalls as you fly above them. You will see the towering cliffs, mountains, streams, and the floor of the rainforest. Many tours will take you by the historic Iao Valley, where they will teach you about the culture and history of the area.

A tour guide will be onboard the flight to fill you in on all you see and the history and geography behind what you are viewing. In most cases, you will fly over the Haleakala Crater, Hana Town, the Hana Rainforest, and the Oheo Gulch. You may fly over Maui completely and see the rugged shorelines and the rocky cliffs on certain parts of the island.

Below is a list of the aerial tours of Maui via helicopter.

Island Tours

Complete Island of Maui Helicopter Tour

In this tour, you will see all of Maui from the air. You begin the tour at the heliport and will be guided by certified tour guides who know all there is to know about Maui. You will see Hana and the Rainforest, Oheo Gulch, the Northeast portion of Maui, Haleakala Crater, and much more. The price for this tour ranges from $279 - $309, though this depends on the particular aircraft being flown during the trip.

Blue Hawaiian Tours

Depending on the tour you take, you will spend 30 to 90 minutes viewing places like the West Maui Rainforest, the West Maui Mountains, Hana and Haleakala, the island of Molokai, or other islands or areas of Maui. You can even take a complete tour of the island if you want. You will see a variety of landscapes from volcanoes to hidden waterfalls. Prices for this tour range from the low $100s to just under $300.

Full Circle Island Deluxe

This helicopter tour will take you through Maui’s Valley Isle. This tour lasts for an hour and gives you a chance to explore the Haleakala Crater from the air. You will reach as high as 10,023 feet. Additional travel spots include the Hana Rainforest, the northeastern coastline of Maui and the West Maui Mountains. This tour comes to $270.00.

These are just a few of the aerial helicopter tours on Maui. If you would like additional options, you can speak to your hotel clerk about scheduling something with one of the local companies.

The Maui News staff’s corruption and illegal practices have stirred up emotions on this beautiful island. Something has to be done but how can we deal with irrational and violent retaliation that so often occurs with these people?

Stacey Vianetto asked:

Are you in the process of planning your next Maui trip? If you are, have you already decided on your overnight accommodations? If this is a task that you have yet to complete, you may want to take the time to examine and compare Maui vacation resorts and Maui vacation homes. Both come highly rated and recommended by tourists, just like yourself.

One of the many differences that you will find between Maui resorts and Maui vacation homes is the services that you are provided with. For instance, many Maui vacation resorts offer room service delivery of food, have laundry services, as well as childcare programs. On the other hand, vacation resorts do not. With that in mind, you will find that many vacation resorts come equipped with washers and dryers, dishwashers, and other features that will enable you to perform many tasks on your own, without assistance that may cost extra at a vacation resort.

Speaking of features, you will find that Maui vacation homes and Maui resorts are quite different. Unless you are able to book a stay in a resort suite, it is likely that your rental will include a bedroom, bathroom, and possibly a relaxation area. This means that you may have the do the majority of your dining elsewhere. Although it is common for Maui vacation resorts to have a number of onsite restaurants and bars, you may prefer to save money by preparing your own food.

In keeping with Maui vacation features, if you are looking to have the vacation rental of your dreams, namely one that is stacked full with awesome features, you will want to examine Maui vacation homes. Despite the possibility of a variance, you will find that many vacation home rentals come equipped with fully furnished kitchens, laundry rooms, and entertainment rooms, which often give you access to cable television, high-speed internet access, a DVD player, and so forth. As a reminder, these features may be found in some Maui vacation resorts, but it is advised that you verify before making any assumptions.

Another difference that you will likely find, when examining Maui vacation homes and Maui resorts, concerns privacy. When renting a Maui vacation home, you are given your own private rental. This means that you do not have to share your space with others. Yes, you will likely have neighbors and they may be located close to your rental, but not enough to put a hamper on your wanted or needed privacy. In fact, if your vacation rental comes with a swimming pool, hot tub, or a garden or patio area, they, unless otherwise stated, should be yours and yours alone. This is not the case with Maui resorts. Although you may gain access to a swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, hair salon, and other neat facilities, you will find that they are community facilities.

Despite the fact that both Maui resorts and Maui vacation homes are located all across the island of Maui, you may notice a trend in location. Vacation resorts can typically be found in popular vacation destinations. These resorts are also located near or directly on the beach. While it is possible to find beachfront Maui vacation homes, you will find that they are harder to get reservations for than Maui resorts, as resorts are able to accommodate more guests.

When examining cost, you will typically find Maui resorts to be more affordable than Maui vacation homes. Generally speaking, Maui vacation resorts cost less than vacation rentals, as you often sacrifice privacy, namely a private rental. Of course, it is important to mention that there are a large number of benefits and perks to staying at a Maui resort. While there will be some variances, in terms of cost, Maui vacation resorts are perfect for those looking to vacation in luxury, while on a budget.

The above mentioned points are just a few of the many that you will want to take into consideration and compare, when examining your overnight accommodations for your upcoming Maui trip. Visiting an online travel website, such as HawaiianBeachRentals.com, will enable you to compare both of your options, as well as vacation condos, apartment rentals, cottages, and villas.

Dhiraj Bandurkar asked:

Maui Beach Hotels

Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian Island. Maui is a place where you will find the nature at its best offering many splendors which you will rarely find anywhere else. That is why when in Maui you will truly experience the meaning of the words, “Maui no ka oi” which means Maui is the best. And that is true to much extent when you will experience Maui Hawaii the best holiday destination you have been to. It offers the great resourcefulness of nature in the form of large beaches, majestic mountain ranges, lush rain forests, and its superior marine life that includes the humpback whales in the waters.

Maui is a one of the leading whale-watching center in the Hawaiian Islands due to the fact that many Humpback whales winter in the sheltered ‘Au’au Channel between the islands of Maui county. Another interesting fact about Maui is that Lahaina a famous town in West Maui in Hawaiian language means the “cruel sun”. When in this part of the world, always remember that you are quite close to the equator, which makes the sunrays more powerful. So when going to take a sunbath always take proper precautions so that you won’t get sunburns. After all who would like to get the sunburns on the start of holidays?

Maui with all its natural treasures is a wonderful tourist destination. You can find this place changing colors with everyday of your stay. So much so that you will find time falling short to fully experience this place. You can start with relaxing on the warm beaches getting sunbath in the morning and then jumping into the waters to get a glimpse of its marine life. The very second day you can plan for trekking and camping in its lush green valleys. And when you do all sort of activities in the day time Maui soothes you in the evening with the cool breeze and an interesting nightlife. Maui is full of events all the time. You will have to work overtime to keep up with the unlimited fun taking palace in Maui.

Reaching Maui is not a problem as it is conveniently connected with the Kahului Airport which is the main airport for the islands of Maui. Getting around in Maui besides its lack of public transportation systems is never a problem as you can find car rentals everywhere. Another advantage in going in for car rentals is that you will find it cheaper than any other place in the US. Same is the case with the hotels as you can find a hotel for every budget. So if you are running on a tight budget be assured that you will find a budget hotel in Maui. The only important part for you is to make prior reservations as Maui is always packed with tourists. Some of the regular facilities offered by the hotels in Maui include air conditioned rooms, car rentals, airport pick and drop facilities, swimming pools, health clubs, spas, restaurants etc.
